A New Persian Version of Language Assessment, Remediation, and Screening Procedure (P-LARSP)

Objectives: In 1998, the Persian form of Language Assessment, Remediation, & Screening Procedure (P-LARSP) was introduced. However, this adapted version remained on library shelves and not used by Iranian speech language pathologists (SLPs). The present study aimed to explore barriers using P-LARSP, resolve possible issues, provide a preliminary grammatical sketch from typical children aged 2-5. Methods: started with two surveys in different populations find then, continued cross-cultural adaptation LARSP through international guidelines (forward backward translations, cognitive interviewing, pretesting). Finally, new 120 samples obtained (aged 2-5) free-play context were analyzed data processed SPSS software, 21. Results: Our showed that SLPs had little familiarity they found it unclear, difficult understand framework.
